Don's "immature" conduct before, during and after the "incident" make it hard to "get over". Especially if one has children in this school district, or has had his tax dollars fleeced by Stinson from the children's pockets into his own.
Let's all pray that this school board gets their heads out of their ***** and follows the "zero tolerance" policy that every student and employee of the township is supposedly held to. Seems some football players recently decided to go to a party where there was underage drinking. All players with the exception of a school board member's son whose back was to the camera, were not allowed to finish the season. I even heard that during a retirement celebration held the last week of school for Rosie O'Brien, that big Don took the mike and made it all about him. He apologized and pleaded his case as if Rosie and her employees were there only to listen to him run his mouth. He thinks he is so superior that he can talk his way out of anything. He should not only be punished by the courts, but his contract should be terminated. Let's find someone outside of current employees who can be a good leader and role model for our community instead of a laughing stock.
Anon 10:57: This school board won't do anything OR get their heads out of their ****. Why? Because it's all about them. At one time they were respected community members. For some reason, this little teenie-tiny bit of local "fame" has gone to all their collective heads. Lets recap:
1. Board president doesn't live in township due to losing her house in a tax sale.
2. Board member drunk at football games; drinking on school property during "tailgate" pregame parties. Running around on the field making a drunken fool of himself. Getting his kid out of trouble from an underage drinking party.
3. Fire chief or School board member?
4. Lets hire all of our kids AND have softball fields named after us!
5. Who's got the monopoly on drivers ed for Decatur Twp? Anyone priced THAT lately? Hmmm wonder who runs that one? Lets not forget....out of the HUNDREDS (thousands?) of potential HS football coaches...who do we hire?
I rest my case. REMEMBER them in 2012. I hear rumors of a couple of people that might step up and get rid of huffman and greenwald.
This is in response to anon. 10:57. You have NO PROOF of what you're talking about. These board members are the best that Decatur Township ever had. Your allegations have NO PROOF. They border on slanderous.
Remember that this blog is being monitered very closely.
anon 7:04 - or should I say Robin? Your constant threat of 'this blog is being monitored' should give all of Decatur a clear example of how folks are 'kept in line' in the school district. But, what you all seem to not get, is that you work for us. You are not better than us and your intimidations have no effect on us.
Instead of monitoring this blog, it has become abundantly apparent, that you should have been spending your time monitoring Don Stinson.
By the way - when are you going to fill my open records request?
If the administration and the school board had closely monitored their spending habits with as much vigor as they apparently spend at monitoring this blog.......Oh Snap!
Just a question for Robin....When you say monitored closely ,does that mean with your nose pressed hard against the monitor screen?

Where's "Dr. Phil" been lately? He posts on WISHTV.COM under "Dr. Phil". Serious; check out all the stories about Stinson and the drunken driving thing. Under "comments", "Dr. Phil" sings the guy praises like he's some kind of God.
"Dr. Phil". LMAO!
Stinson has spent years talking (and using poor grammar) about his many accomplishments and now getting arrested for drinking and driving is his new claim to fame. Only a loser would talk in such a twisted way. Each and every board member should be held responsible if he is not fired NOW.
I'm confused about this blog is being monitored closely. What does that mean? That we can not post our comments without some person watching? Do you turn all of us into the blog police? What consequences are you threatening?
