How About a Free For All?

I'm swamped with getting some things done before the year is over. So, how about a free for all, where you post what's on your mind?

Got any New Year's resolutions? Were you stranded back east and have a tale to share? Did the blizzard churn up old stories of blizzards from bygone years? Any thoughts on politics or the new Legislative agenda? Anything else strike your fancy to post about?

Hopefully I'll be back at the blog tomorrow.

How about that Decatur Township school board? Anyone wanna make a newyears bet that they will do NOTHING to Stinson for his drunken driving?

How about the IURC. What are the odds that they reject the $29 million payoff to the water company's previous owners? What are the odds that they reject the whole dubious deal?

What about the Carl Brizzi/Tim Durham scandal? What does it take these days to get indicted in Indy?

What about the new high school dropout statistics? When will the news media realize that they have been had, and that questionable numbers are at the heart of this magical improvement.

Who's running for MSD Decatur school board in 2012?

How long will it be before Mitch Daniels rues the day he got his majority in the Indiana House? The far right fringe will further alienate independents, moderates and thinking people state-wide

How can the school board do anything to Stinson when one of their own shows up intoxicated to the football games on a regular basis?

Are warnings for DUI documented? Heard Stinson had been given so many warnings that he had to be arrested that time. Doesn't make sense that a drunk would get a warning instead of ticket or arrested but neither does what happened to drunk cop who killed a man and injured 2 others. Doesn't make sense that the cops who covered that up got demoted then promoted. Time to get MADD!

Warnings for DUI are not documented.

As far as Bisard...He'll most likely receive his request for a change of venue. Once the change of venue request is granted, his lawyer will summarily ask for a bench trial. Kinda negates the premise for a change of venue,no?

Think about that.

Yes, it is time to get mad. Don't know if one of the board members also drinks and drives but would guess that a majority (3) of the board members do not drink and drive. Stinson is lucky that someone was not killed. His wife is probably the only person who knows how many warnings he has had. The next superintendent will have many messes to clean up. HEI has documented many irresponsible acts of this guy but only the board can say that he will no longer be employed. I do hope when he gets sued that the board will also be sued.
