It is obvious that I am occupied with things other than this blog. So much worthy news to comment upon and I am not posting. So, for those who have checked in to see if anything new will ever again appear on this site -- why yes it will, just sporadically until the holidays and my end of year tasks are completed.
So, for both my readers' amusement, I ask for your predictions for 2012.
I'll start it off with one of my own. The City-County Council and the Mayor will not agree on anything this year EXCEPT they will agree to give more money to the CIB. Not the Libraries. Not IndyGo. Just the CIB.
So, any thoughts for the new year?

I predict 8 inches of snow day before the Superbowl.
Good one, Kilroy. That's Dave Sherman's recurring nightmare.
I predict pay to play will be the prevailing mode of operations in city and state government, unless Joe Hogsett gets serious about corruption and goes after a big fish -- as in a law firm, an ACS, a Keystone Construction etc....the Bales and Durham's were relatively easy cases of corruption to prosecute -- what is more difficult are the systemic breaches of trust and moral and ethical lapses that seem to be occurring fairly regularly....
Yeah, what anonymous said!
I'm a fan of anon 1:02's comment, as well !! Go Joe, Go !!!!
It being a major election year, all forms of mass media, except of course your blog, will become totally ignored by the public starting around mid October.
1.Charlie White will hold on to his office some what battered but still breathing. 2.The Packers will win the Super Bowl over the inept team from the AFC that survives the playoffs to get to the Super Bowl. 3.Indy will take a financial bath hosting the game.4. I will go against Anonymous and state that pay to play in city and state government will continue to thrive. 5. North Korea will be ruled exactly like it was before.6. Watch for bad things to keep happening in the middle east. 7. Can you say Romney for Republican nominee for President. Ughhhhh....
