We need to elect good, intelligent, thoughtful people to office. How do we get there given the entrenched interests that normally overrule the public interest? What's gone right recently? What's gone wrong recently? How do we improve our government by improving our choices for public office?

BTW - ALEC has special status under Indiana law - Legislators can take unlimited gifts, trips, and 'assistance' from ALEC and they do not have to report dime one or dollar one-hundred-thousand.
The left's preoccupation with crap like ALEC and Romney's tax returns shows desperation. ALEC is as crazy as the Chamber of Commerce, but left treats it like it's the reincarnation of the slave trade.
